ABSTRACT

Objective:Investigate the status quo and existing problems of medical researchers’ cognition on scientific research data management in a tertiary hospital in Jiangsu Province, provide reference for improving the overall scientific research management and policy-making in hospitals. Methods:The convenient sampling method was adopted. A questionnaire survey on research data cognition was conducted among medical staff, full-time researchers and research management personnel. The statistical analysis was performed by software SPSS 25.0, and the difference was statistically significant at P <0.05. Results:A total number of 200 questionnaires were collected in this study. The main way for researchers to obtain data is laboratory experiments, and the main way to obtain the original data of others is the public database on the internet. Nearly 70.0% (140 people) lost the data because they did not take good care of the scientific research data. The number of required project teams and encouraged peers to submit to data management agencies were 146 (73.0%) and 160 (80.0%), respectively. 57.0% had used other people's raw data. Among which researchers had post-graduate degrees are the highest. Conclusions:Researchers have poor data preservation and are willing to share scientific research data, but lack professional knowledge and skills; at the hospital level, scientific research personnel should be trained in relevant scientific data management to improve the cognitive ability of scientific research data protection and sharing. It is necessary to establish a scientific data preservation system and be equipped with necessary facilities for data storage, management, service and security to ensure the integrity and safety of scientific data. Related policies should be developed to enhance the innovation and reform of scientific research management.

ABSTRACT

Objective To construct a set of evaluation index system for medical research project,to make the work justice and fairness,to manage the research work scientificly and standardized,to promote scientific research and hospital development closely,so as to better serve the society. Methods Based on the literature review, semi structure interview method and current medical research project evaluation index system and related management methods,a preliminary index system was formed.Using the Delphi method to carry out two rounds anonymous questionnaire consulting, the medical research project acceptance evaluation index system was finalized. Results The evaluation index system of medical research projects includes 5 first-level indexes and 21 second-level indexes.Ranking from high to low is based on the weight coefficient of the size. Conclusions Through the establishment of the index system of medical scientific research projects, the project acceptance management work has become scientifically planned, which guide scientific research project productive and improving the scientific management level and technological innovation ability.

ABSTRACT

During years of managent practice of postgraduate training,it is found that great attention of leadership is a good foundation, that pre-service training is an essential part, that srtict implementation of the requirements on postgraduate,advisor-responsibility system unified instruction under subject, focusing on process-management of training and exploring actively effective incentive training methods is necessary.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the expression of Foxo3a and p27kip1 in lumbar dorsal root ganglia (DRG) after injury of sciatic nerve in rats. Methods Adult rats were randomly divided into control group and experimental group. The rats in experimental group were subjected to sciatic nerve clamp.Expression and distribution of Foxo3a and p27kip1 and cellular proliferation and axon regeneration in DRG was detected by western blot and immunohistochemistry. Results Foxo3a protein levels begined to reduce at 1 day (7.0 ± 3.5), reached valley at 2 day (6.0 ± 3.8) after injury, and following Foxo3a downregulation, p27kip1 protein levels begined to decrease at 2 day (29.0 ± 3.5), reached valley at 7 day (21.0± 3.0) after injury. Down-regulation of Foxo3a and p27kip1 was expressed predominantly in neurons and glial cells by double immunolabelling. Foxo3a and p27kip1 were expressed in neurons [(37.8 ± 5.7)%, (43.3 ±4.3)%] and glial [(22.4 ± 3.9)%, (13.8 ± 3.2)%] cells in sections of DRG at 2 day after injury less than neurons [(73.6 ± 2.5)%, (84.1 ± 3.7)%] and glial [(61.3 ± 4.4)%, (68.7 ± 5.6)%] cells in sections of normal DRG. Proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and GAP-43 were up-regulation from 2 day, and PCNA reached peak at 7 day after injury. The glial cells were the main type of cellular proliferation. Conclusion Down-regulation of Foxo3a and p27kip1 in lumbar DRG is correlated with the proliferation of glial cells and axonal regeneration after sciatic nerve injury.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the expression of Foxo3a in the lumbar dorsal root ganglia (DRG) after sciatic nerve injury in rats. Methods Forty-two adult rats were randomly divided into control group and experimental group. Rats in experimental group were subjected to sciatic nerve clamp. Expression and distribution of Foxo3a, growth associated protein (CAP) and axon regeneration in DRC were detected by Western blot and immunofluorescent staining. Results (1) After sciatic nerve injury, Foxo3a protein levels began to reduce at day 1, reached the lowest level at day 2 and then gradually rose to nomal level at four weeks after sciatic nerve injury. Proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and GAP-43 were up-regulated from day 2, and the level of PCNA reached peak at day 7 after sciatic nerve injury in DRC. (2) Down-regulation of Foxo3a was observed predominantly in neurons and glial cells. PCNA mostly expressed in glial cells and hardly in neurons. Conclusion Down-regulation of Foxo3a in lumbar DRG may correlate with axonal regeneration and the proliferation of glial cells after sciatic nerve injury.
